Brief Biography: I can’t think of any place in the world that I would rather live than Valdez, Alaska. Valdez is a fantastic community with beauty all around us and in the people who call this place home. I’ve had the privilege of being a third-generation Valdez resident. Buccaneer blue runs in my family’s blood. I graduated from Valdez High School, and so did my five adult children.

Brief Biography: I was born in Valdez Alaska, graduated high school in Northern Michigan and went to two years of college there before being accepted into the UAF geology undergraduate program. I had financial difficulties as most 21 year olds do and started welding at Fairbanks Welding and Fabrication on Van Horn Rd. I later joined the Laborers Local 341 and began working for Ahtna Construction in the summer of 2001. I am a Second generation Pipeline Hand. I have been a member of Local 341 for over 20 years. I worked for four seasons as a Professional Geoscientist for Avalon Development Corporation in Fox Alaska. I have spent over a yea
