An International Trial has found that thousands of men every year could be successfully treated with a more intense form of radiotherapy which would significantly shorten the time it takes to treat them. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men with 52,000 cases diagnosed every year. One in eight men, and one in four black men, will be affected. And 12,000 die from it every year.
