For that matter, weve not seen a lot of homeless people. You could see some tents here. There are about a dozen here in the area of san bruno and alameda but as we pan the camera around, you see a lot of sidewalk. Were told a few days ago it was wall to wall tents all the way down to division street. The Public Health department ordered people to vacate the area, saying this was a public nuisance because of all the human waste and hypodermic needles. That appeared to create a sweep, and thats why some activists decided to spend the night in tents late last week including edward linda whos running for supervisor. No, i dont want to go to pier 80. I dont think its even feasible. Why the ultimatum to go to jail or pier 80 . We have rights. As long as theres no violation in society or doing anything inappropria inappropriate, we shouldnt have tof to go. As long as were people getting off the streets, if were not doing anything to the public, they shouldnt bug us. Dont put me in the category as those who do stuff wrong. Id rather be on the streets. It would give me the opportunity try to maneuver and take care of business rather than living under someone elses rug until i get our place. Its too difficult to be living under some circumstances, and their regulations will keep you from taking care of business. Fire officials he pulled in after the bus started overheating. When you open up the hood, he thought it was overheating. He walked into the gas station to have a mechanic come out. In the period of time he walked away, smoke started to fill the front of the vehicle. We noticed there was a fire. Reporter the under countrified dryer unidentified driver caused panic for some in the area. We need to evacuate. The gas station is on fire. We left the building, heard an street. And got out of the way. Saw this big column of smoke. Reporter it couldve been disastrous. Immediately i went outside, pushed the shuttle bus. Reporter chevron assistant manager christina bus tours turned off the gas to the pumps avoiding a monstrous blaze.
