Monday, the two train cars were quietly loaded onto flat bed trucks and removed from the hayward maintenance yard. They started asking around, people who would normally know the location of various train cars, and they didnt know anything about it. Reporter says the union traced the cars to a b. A. R. T. Contractors house. A source showed us the train cars and sitting in the rail cars. The union says their contract strictly forbids them from training on cars. Experienced train operators, thats reckless and dangerous. Reporter we asked if train something being done . Authorities say a soldier and a suspected gunman are dead after gunfire erupted this morning at a war memorial and the nearby Parliament Building. [ sound of gunfire ] pretty dramatic cell phone video there taken inside the Parliament Building just before 10 00 a. M. Their time. Ottawa hospital says its received three patients. Two were in stable condition. The third was the soldier who died. The gunshot sent lawmakers inside the Parliament Building and people outside scrambling for cover. I thought it was just fire crackers going off. So i look across the street, and there was a man with a rifle shooting at a bunch of people. Shots were also fired at a nearby shopping center. Again, one suspected gunman is dead. They were searching for two others. No one is in custody. The Prime Minister is safe and had Left Parliament hill.
