Following an official swearing in, last week, Spencer Mayor Steve Bomgaars welcomed new City Councilman David Lyons who is replacing Bill Orrison following his resignation earlier this year to relocate out of town. Lyons, the director at ATLAS of Spencer, will represent the residents of Ward 2 after running uncontested in the November election.
