Annamaria Marlborough has been suffering for nine months.
Even before the virus hit, the grandmother from Norwich had been fighting chronic asthma.
“I’ve had it for a long time, but over the last two years it was out of control,” she said. “I’ve been on a lot of steroids to fight it.”

Only one area recorded the lowest level, between 0 and 2 cases. Overall, coronavirus cases in Glasgow shot up by more than 80% in the week between Christmas and New Year. Official figures show the number of positive tested cases of the virus in the city in the seven days up to January 1 was 1897. The week before December 25, the number was 1036. It represents an increase of 83% in just one week. In the week up to Christmas in Glasgow there were 19 areas where there were between 0 and 2 positive tested cases of Coronavirus and where it was considered suppressed. However, by New Year’s Day there was only one where that was the situation.
