Sturgis Journal
Two requests for using the Sturgis city logo were approved Wednesday by city commissioners, subject to legal review and approval.
The board unanimously approved a request from Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce to incorporate the city logo as part of Sturgis Fest in July. The theme, “125 years of Sturgis,” also will include the use of logos from the past.
Five Lakes Coffee also asked for official use of the city logo for its new branding and marketing of a new coffee, “Electric City Blend,” and especially the beverage “Electric City Coffee.”
“A lot of our success comes from Sturgis,” Jared Smith at Five Lakes Coffee said. “We opened our first store here.”
