Volunteer at San Franciscos Suicide Prevention and i see callers call in regularly about the distress theyre going through because of the inability to afford housing or living on the street because theyre homeless and also on a personal level because my mom, my mother is a recipient of low Income Housing in washington state. Without this ability for her to qualify or not having a place for her to stay, i dont know how i personally would be able to help or support her as im the only family she has here in the country. Berkeley mayor Jesse Arreguin speaking out at a virtual town Hall Saturday against the states guidance banning Outdoor Dining in Alameda County or fiction writers under like some of our other neighboring jurisdictions and so i think you know we should have the ability to be able to make our own decisions about. I will say a few more words about them in a minute, but i want to really start by saying that we are gathering at a time where a lee are going through times of deep pain and anguish for so many americans. That has come to the floor in the last few, but it is a product of years in decades and centuries of equally and unfair treatment.
