Lebanon council member resigns over abortion proposal, partisan ‘faction’ Courtney King © Provided by WXIX Cincinnati Lebanon City Council member resigns amid abortion vote LEBANON, Ohio (FOX19) - The lone member of Lebanon City Council opposed to an ordinance that would effectively ban abortions in the city announced her resignation on Tuesday. Council member Krista Wyatt, a former firefighter elected to City Council in 2018, issued a statement (reproduced in full below) to explain her resignation. In the statement, Wyatt, who has lived in Lebanon her entire life, cites numerous incidents going back sixteen months that she says demonstrate the growing influence on council of a small, hyper-partisan faction of the Republican party.

East Ridge Finalizes Plan To Have 2 Large Liquor/Wine Stores; Developers To Be Chosen By Lottery Friday, January 29, 2021 - by Gail Perry The city of East Ridge on Thursday night passed the final version of an ordinance that established the rules and regulations for retail package liquor stores. Some amendments were made to the ordinance that passed on first reading on Jan. 14.   The city will be divided into two zones. District A is commercial property between Belvoir Avenue and the Bachman Tunnels. District B is property with road frontage on Ringgold Road between Moore and Spring Creek Roads. One store will be allowed in each of the two districts.
