The Santa Cruz City Arts team is asking the public for mural ideas for the public restroom and showers on Beach Street near the entrance to the Santa Cruz Wharf and Cowell Beach.
A new mosaic mural dubbed "Dancing Waters" was unveiled at the River Front garage Wednesday afternoon. The mosaic, which tells the story of water's endless dance, was sponsored by the city of Santa Cruz and designed by local artist Maha Jumaie Taitano with support from the Watsonville-based Community Arts and Empowerment, led by longtime community artist, Kathleen Crocetti.
