Lawyers from Brian Kohberger are seeking a trial delay slated to start in october. He is charged with four counts of first degree murder as well as felony burglary. Defense is claiming he was out driving alone when those four students were murdered. Prosecutors say they want details including specific places he claims to have been at the time of the murders and witnesses to back up his alibi. Brian kohberger has been at the other Pretrial Motion hearings and expect him to be in court today six weeks before the start of his murder trial. The indictment follows a yearlong investigation, 75 witnesses and 98 pages. The Fulton County District Attorney. The indictment alleges that rather than abide by georgias Legal Process for election challenges, the defendants engaged in a Criminal Racketeering Enterprise to overturn georgias president ial election. Harris so in those 98 pages the indictment targets 19 defendants with a total of 41 charges. The former president faces 13 of those 41 charges himself. Prosecutors say they have various emails, texts, phone calls as evidence against all 19 plaintiffs. Trumps codefendants, the 18 others include some of his attorneys at the time and his former white house Chief Of Staff. The District Attorney says she hopes to go to trial in six months and try all 19 at the same time. Fox news contributor and legal expert Jonathan Turley says the two tiers of justice as plain as day. The georgia case is for a lot of these we need translators, former prosecutors. What fani willis charged was the clearest thing we all saw with our own eyes. And i had this conversation in the 8 00 hour. What trump told his voters his first year as president in 2017 from a podium was dont believe what you see, dont believe what you hear, only believe me.
