Written By: Post Bulletin staff reports | 9:17 am, Dec. 24, 2020 × Big Turn Music Festival PRESTON The Preston City Council on Monday voted unanimously to set the city s property tax levy at $1,026,942 for 2021, a 4.24 percent increase. The levy will include collection of the first payment for the 2021 street project, which has a bond that will start being paid in 2022. That project will likely be bid in February, said City Administrator Joe Hoffman. In other business, the city council ordered staff to proceed with a purchase agreement for the Preston Dairy & Farm site. The city is looking to pay $125,000 for the property.
