A man accused of breaking into at least two Miami-Dade schools was caught after police say he left his wallet containing his Florida ID and credit cards behind at one of the schools.
Alex Ezequiel Diaz, 25, was arrested Tuesday on multiple counts of burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief, according to arrest reports.
The arrest reports said Diaz broke into Miami Senior High School on Southwest 1st Street back on July 18, damaging a locker room window and stealing some items while no one was inside. He was also seen on security cameras inside the school s gymnasium and hallways, the report said.
