Brad Kilger, hired as Los Altos’ interim city manager last week, came away impressed by the first city council meeting he sat through, which featured an hourslong discussion about the future of the historical Halsey House. Kilger
“I was impressed with the detail that the community, staff and council all dove in trying to address that issue,” Kilger said in an interview last week. “It showed that they want to make good and well-informed decisions and try to address the diverse opinions, needs and wants of the community.”
