While the cyberattack on the Colonial Pipeline continues to make national headlines, Americans are being reminded they ought to be concerned about similar attacks on hospitals and other healthcare providers as well.

A patients rights organization is calling on members of Congress to get rid of HIPAA.
Despite how it is portrayed on TV shows and movies, Twila Brase of the Citizens Council for Health Freedom says the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) does not protect one s privacy. Instead, Brase says it is a permissive data-sharing rule. We believe that this rule has done everything but protect our privacy, she tells One News Now. It has opened up our medical records, and we would say that it is the largest deception that has ever been foisted on the American people.

Whether college students should be required to get the COVID-19 vaccine is an issue over which universities are divided, but one RN and advocate for health freedom can see why so many people are hesitant to fall in line.
Though the White House insists there will be no database of those who have – or have not – gotten a vaccine, and there will also be no federal mandate requiring one, the Associated Press reports that Rutgers, Brown, Cornell, and Northwestern are among the universities that recently told students they must get vaccinated before returning to campus next fall.
