Newhouse announces start of annual art competition

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Dan Newhouse, R-Wash., announced Thursday the start of the annual Central Washington Congressional Art Competition. The statement said all Central Washington high school students are eligible to participate and the winning entry will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol.

Have you ever wondered ‘What if I put myself and my talents out into the world when I was younger?’ Now is the perfect time for high schoolers throughout Central Washington to take a chance on themselves and submit their work for consideration in the ‘Central Washington Congressional Art Competition.’ Now in its fourth year, the Central Washington Congressional Art Competition is a chance for young creatives to share their work and compete for a chance at incredible prizes. According to the office of Rep. Dan Newhouse, the winner will have their work displayed in the halls of the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. this year!
