are the dogs that caught the car. this is not a good issue for them. i think they were surprised that the supreme court was willing to go as far as as they are based on that draft opinion and they know that s not politically helpful to them in the fall. on the democratic side, s.e. is wright. murkowski and collin who is want to forge some sort of compromise here. senator tim kaine says he s in discussions with them. the reality is finding the other eight republicans who would vote to break a filibuster for that bill and pass this before the election has other political impl implications for the republicans. i don t see them doing that either. i don t think much will happen on the national level.
