Jun 16, 2021 The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office is announcing a conclusion to a criminal investigation into allegations of police misconduct during a police-involved incident from this past April. This concerns the apprehension of a suspect following a police pursuit on April 30th that started after the suspect fled from a traffic stop along US 23 in South Bloomfield. The chase ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed near Renick’s Farm Market. The driver was detained but soon filed a use of force complaint with the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, whose deputies got involved in the pursuit along with South Bloomfield police and the state highway patrol.
