Thieves steal mountain bikes from Dallas-area Boy Scout camp

The bikes were taken Thursday from the Circle Ten Council.
They were part of the Camp Wisdom mountain biking program.
Tools, toolboxes and extra bike parts were also stolen.
The Circle Ten camping directors said the theft may force the cancellation of the summer camp mountain biking program for hundreds of scouts.

The Boy Scouts of America is an Irving-based group.

Former Dallas city manager and long-time Texas Woman s University (TWU) regent George Schrader died in a North Texas hospital Thursday.
Schrader was first appointed to the Texas Woman’s University Board of Regents in 2007 by then-Governor Rick Perry. Schrader was re-appointed by Perry in 2013 for a second six-year term on the board.
