COVID-19 relief funds could help Kansas City become City of Fountains again
City leaders are seeking to restore funds to the Kansas City, Missouri, Parks and Recreation Department from the latest COVID-19 relief to help keep fountains on this year.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â Kansas City, Missouri, will soon be the City of Fountains once again.
Due to a nearly $7 million loss in revenue from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Parks and Recreation Department was only able to run seven of its 48 fountains last year.
Kansas City native Curtis Woods II said it s been a dark year without them.
