Amada, the modern Spanish tapas restaurant from Chef Jose Garces, opens this weekend in Radnor at 555 E. Lancaster Ave. Amada was the first solo concept opened by the James Beard Award-winning chef in Old City in 2005. There's also another location at Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City.
Jose Garces will open a second Garces Trading Company restaurant inside the Kimmel Center on Wednesday, Jan. 18. The casual cafe, at 300 S. Broad St., will feature a coffee shop, bakery bar and marketplace. The James Beard Award winner revived the GTC concept last year with a location at the Cira Centre in University City.
