Heng Chivoan Capital maintains waste collection tariffs, payment methods Sat, 10 July 2021 The Phnom Penh Municipal Administration said it will maintain tariffs for rubbish and solid waste collection services and retain pre-payment methods for this year. In an announcement dated July 9, it said pre-payment can be made for a period of six months – July-December. All residents, businesses and private institutions can use their customer identification number to make payments through their mobile phone, agents of electronic payment service providers or partner banks’ mobile apps during the transition period.

Share The Kampong Cham provincial administration is looking for a new location of dumpsite because Kampong Cham town is located near an Asia Development Bank (ADB) project which plans to develop an environmentally-friendly dumpsite. Provincial environmental department director Nuon Kong Sol said the present dumpsite belonged to local firm Cintri (Cambodia) Co Ltd. This dumpsite in Chamkar Leu district’s Bos Khnor commune covered 10ha.

Share Three firms picked to handle rubbish collection in capital Thu, 4 February 2021 One Singaporean and one Chinese firm each won bids to collect and manage waste in two zones in Phnom Penh, while local firm Cintri (Cambodia) Co Ltd was selected to provide services in the central and southern parts of the capital. A ceremony to inaugurate cooperation with the three companies is scheduled for February 5. Municipal Hall spokesman Met Meas Pheakdey and managing director of city’s Waste Management and Environment Division Nuon Samnavuth told The Post on February 4 that the ceremony is organised to formally deliver contracts to the three waste collectors.
