LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 28 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said it repurchased 570 of its own shares for a total of 102,840 euro ($125,532).
Thus, Cinkarna Celje has increased its holding of own shares to 2.6574% of the issued share capital from 2.5868%, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange last week.
The company bought 270 own shares at 179.78 euro each on December 21 and 300 shares at 181 euro apiece on December 23, the statement reads.
As of December 24, following the transaction, Cinkarna Celje held 21,471 own shares.
The decision for the share buyback was approved by the general shareholders meeting of Cinkarna Celje on June 17.
