Cineworld Ely has not revealed exactly when it plans to reopen but a spokesperson has said it “expects to resume operations” this month.
The cinema industries has been among the worst hit during the pandemic, and the global cinema chain closed all branches around the world “until further notice” in October.
A spokesperson did not confirm an exact date for the Ely reopening, but said: “We expect to resume operations in the UK including Ely, in May, in line with current government guidance.”
Tickets are available now for £2 but organisers have had to limit numbers because of the proposed lockdown restrictions.
Guests will also need to book a within a two-hour slot to attend. The options are: 10am-midday, 12:30pm-2:30pm and 3pm-5pm.
Slightly further afield near St Ives, The Raptor Foundation in Woodhurst was officially reopened on Saturday (May 1) by Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia.

It rescues, rehabilitates and returns injured birds of prey back to the wild.
While the public can now visit the wildlife facility, flying displays and specialist packages such as the Meerkat Experience will recommence from May 17.
It is now recruiting experienced bar staff ready for when indoor hospitality is permitted.
Other pubs have chosen to wait until Step 3 of the roadmap was given the green light before opening their doors.
The Red Lion in Wisbech, for example, is counting down the days to May 17 when it will open and serving beer for the first time this year.
It will close on Monday and Tuesday evenings to start, and will be offering 10 per cent off food bills for the rest of the month.
The wonderful Jezue cafe and restaurant on the Bambers site at in Lynn Road, Wisbech, has been able to feed happy customers like these outdoors. But from May 17 customers can once again venture inside - and enjoy.
