At least two persons were injured after a glass covering of the Covid centre at
Cidco Exhibition Centre in Vashi crashed on Monday afternoon.
The glass covering fell as the city witnessed very heavy rainfall along with strong winds due to cyclone
Tauktae.
The pieces of glass fell on the floor and due to that, the rainwater also started entering.
Two persons who received minor injuries are being treated.

Thane, and suburban areas on Monday received heavy rainfall along with gusty winds due to severe cyclonic storm Tauktae.
Cyclone Tauktae has now intensified into an extremely severe cyclonic storm . The city also reported over 150 incidents of tree collapse along with water logging. Major subways in Malad, Kandivali, Dahisar, Andheri and Santacruz were flooded and closed for traffic, while many lowlying areas were waterlogged.
The Bandra-Worli sea-link was closed for traffic in view of the strong winds and people were asked to take alternate routes.
