The TDP chief, N Chandrababu Naidu, has been granted two days custody by a court for further interrogation in connection with the Skill Development Corporation scam. The Andhra Pradesh High Court dismissed Naidu s petition to quash the FIR registered against him. Naidu was arrested on September 9 for allegedly misappropriating funds from the Skill Development Corporation.
The HC has also stayed till September 18 the proceedings in the CID’s plea seeking custody of the former CM till September 19. Naidu has been remanded to judicial custody till September 22.
