Onlookers spoke of their pride in their area s community spirit as dozens of mourners paid their last respects to tragic tot Ciaran Leigh Morris.
In a tribute, his parents said: Mommy s and Daddy s hearts will always ache, we love you more than anything. We didn t get to keep you for long but we are happy we had the chance to meet you, look after you and call you our son. Fly high angel.
Sergeant Mark Crozier, of the West Midlands Police serious collision investigation unit, said: We ve all been left numb by the sad death of Ciaran. He was just two weeks old and his life has been tragically taken away. To see the loss of someone so young is difficult for us as officers, but we know the pain is greater for Ciaran s family.

A motorist charged with causing the death of a premature two-week-old baby boy whose pram was allegedly hit by a BMW during a walk with his parents on Easter Sunday will appear in court this morning.
James Paul Davis, 34, is accused of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by driving while uninsured after Ciaran Leigh Morris died following a collision involving a car in Walsall.
Davis, from Walsall, faces further charges of failing to stop at the scene of a crash and failure to report an incident.

Two-week-old baby hit by car
The parents of a two-week-old boy who died after his pram was hit by a car have paid tribute to their son.
A BMW is understood to have been involved in a collision with another car in High Street, Brownhills, before striking the baby’s pram at around 4pm on Easter Sunday, West Midlands Police previously said.
The baby was being pushed along the pavement by family and suffered serious injuries.
Police said he was rushed to hospital, but nothing could be done to save him.
On Monday, he was named as Ciaran Leigh Morris.
