shepard: officials in pakistan have regained control of a navy base today back from the taliban. after militants attacked and occupied facility for 18 hours. and the pentagon spokesman tells fox that six u.s. contractors there during the attack are safe and not hurt. officials say no more than half a dozen attackers tolled the high security facility in karachi and killed 12 security officers and destroyed two u.s. supply planes. an embarrassing blow to the pakistani military. we are told the insurgents were armed with automatic weapons and they broke in using ladders and wire cutters and the pakistani taliban claim responsibility and a spokesman says this was revenge for the raid that killed osama bin laden. a pakistani american who pleaded guilty to plotting the deadly 2008 attack in india told a court today a terrorist group coordinated with pakistan s intelligence agency.
