85、释道如造阿弥陀像，佛像赴地狱说法，度化众生，离苦得乐 释道如，并州晋阳人，是道绰禅师的玄孙弟子。他心含慈仁，悲悯四生苦难，虽修净业，却先欲度化他人，他发愿为救三途众生受苦，造阿弥陀佛丈六金像。因资财贫乏，三年才完成，于是精勤供养，并在像前做了一个梦：有一个冥官，送来金纸牒书说：“这是阎魔法-王，随喜法师你大愿的牒书！”，道如当即打开，看到上面写着：“阿师为救三途受苦众生，造阿弥陀像，入地狱教化众生，宛如生佛，放光说法，利益不可思议；地狱众生，业微轻者，皆离苦得乐。”梦醒后，就更加专注其志向。到了斋日，所造佛像胸前会放光，十人中有五六人看到；还有人梦见：释道如现金色身，入地狱中说法，或为饿鬼说法。类似的感应非常多，可见所愿必定不虚啊。（出自《三宝感应要略录》
