On wednesday, those demands were answered. All four of the former officers who were there when george floyd died have been arrested and charged. That includes upgraded charges for Derek Chauvin, the man who held his knee on floyds neck for nine minutes until he died. He now faces seconddegree on top of thirddegree murder. The other men were charged with aiding and abetting felony and murder. Theyre now in custody. Hostility against churches in the United States appears to be on the rise, according to a recent Family Research Council report that identified 436 incidents against churches in 2023, more than double the amount reported by the group in 2022 and eight times the number identified in 2018.
