Good afternoon, im james torres. Its the friday kicking off memorial day weekend, and we already have some trouble in traffic. Behind me here is a caltrans camera that shows a big rig that caught fire over here on the right right hand side of this screen, there was a fire truck that was blocking some of those lanes. This is the westbound side of the bay bridge headed toward yerba buena island. If youre headed to San Francisco, three lanes of traffic are still moving at this point, but all of that behind it is moving pretty slow. Well take you live now at the bay bridge midway span, where you can see traffic is backed up quite a bit. Youd have to really get into the screen there because there is just a little bit of fogginess hanging out on top of the bay bridge. At this point, it will likely take you more than an hour to get to San Francisco from oakland. Heres what were learning. And cnn just learned the name of one of 18 people gunned down in that rampage. Trisha ashlan was a 53yearold mother who worked at the Bowling Alley, according to her brother, that is one of the locations where the shooting broke out. The other was a bar grille, a tenminute drive, three of them in critical condition, john. Yeah, this is huge manhunt under way in the surrounding area here. Hundreds of officers state and federal on the hunt for this alleged mass murderer. 40yearold robert card. His family has urged card to surrender. That is according to his brother.
