Pressure on elected officials to raise minimum wage to living wage or something close to it. Today there was an important turning point in that fight. Mitt romney who said there was probably not a need to raise minimum wage now says it should go up. I, for instance, as you know, part company with many conservatives on the issue of minimum wage. I think we ought to raise it. Frankly, our party is all about more jobs and better pay. Romney isnt the only one embracing wage hike. Fred de luca, founder of subway, the biggest fast food chain, said he was not concerned about hike in minimum wage. Over the years i have seen so many of these wage increases. I think it is normal.
