Gunmen Abduct Nigerian Immigration Service Spokeswoman In Benin By Kayode Ajiboye
Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the Public Relations Officer of the Edo State Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in Benin City.
According to sources, the NIS spokeswoman, Mrs. Bridget Esene was waylaid and whisked off by the gun-wielding gang on her way to Church at Ikhueniro area of the state capital on Sunday, January 24, 2021.
An eyewitness recounted that the incident which looked like a scene from a Hollywood movie scared commuters and passers-by who scampered for safety.
The eyewitness said: “Passersby who were traumatized by spiral gunshots of the Bandits took to their heels, with some fleeing into nearby bush adding that the incident did not last for more than 5 minutes.”
