Cambodia job scam: The development came just days after the city police in Visakhapatnam busted a human trafficking racket being operated by some unscrupulous agents.
About 300 Telugu youths from Vizag and other parts of the state, who were lured by local agents to Cambodia and forced to work in cybercrime syndicates there, revolted against their handlers in the Southeast Asian country on Monday. Vizag police chief A Ravi Shankar said hundreds of trafficked Indians, majority of them from the Telugu states, protested in Sihanoukville, a coastal Cambodian city which is considered the hub of cybercrime syndicates.
