Chuckanut Italian Pilsner from its involvement with the Italian brewers Pils & Love Festival. Originally brewed in 2019 for Seattle’s Chuck’s Hop Shop,
Chuckanut Italian Style Pilsner returns in 500mL bottles across the Pacific Northwest.

Chuckanut Italian Style Pilsner, the brew team at Chuckanut used pilsner malt to lay down a backbone that delivers graininess and a light malt sweetness. However, the bright spot of this pilsner it the use of the Noble hops that provide for a clean bitterness and those dry-hopped for flavor and aroma. This is a German style pilsner on steroids! A highly drinkable lager with huge notes of spicy and herbal hops.

This review is meant to inspire readers. Many of us have a touch of cabin fever these days. Consider this a nudge. Get out of the house, into the car, pull up Google Maps and enter an address, navigate some traffic. Not always easy to find a new eatery, or in this case a new food truck. For your consideration I offer up options located in a nice community neighborhood in north Lynnwood or parked outside a brew pub in Mountlake Terrace.
