Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Marks Official Opening for Waite Park s New Amphitheater

Dene Dryden/KNSI News (KNSI) – The Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park officially opened its gates to the public on Tuesday afternoon with a flag raising and a ribbon cutting ceremony. At 5 p.m., Waite Park Mayor Rick Miller introduced members of the American Legion Post #428, who raised an American flag gifted to The Ledge by Chuck Schneider, a former Waite Park City Council member who died in 2018. Miller said the flag, which was initially given to Schneider by U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, would be raised in memory of Schneider and former state Rep. Jerry Relph, who died in December 2020.
