Officers are gunned down while sitting in their patrol cars in two separate incidents. A st. Louis Police Sergeant and 20year veteran of the force ambushed while sitting in traffic sunday night. We are following the latest news as its coming into our newsroom. Police have now detained three people who may have been involved in a shooting. Shots were fired in a parking lot of a nightclub that was hosting a teen party in ft. Myers, florida. This happened at a club called club blu. 17 people in total have been shot and two of them are dead. Theyve not been identified at this hour. Were watching that part of the story as well. Multiple people, we are told, are fighting lifethreatening injuries right now inside the hospital. Some inside the club were as young as 13 years old. Witnesses on the scene describing it as mad house with others saying they heard around 30 gunshots that bystanders say may have come from multial guns.
