"We hold this day at the highest regard for those who died serving and giving their lives to the public. Every day we risk our lives, but that level was above and beyond what we normally would experience," said chief deputy of Bernalillo County Rescue, Brian Rose.
Each of the Twin Towers were 110 stories tall. Today, to honor the first responders who died 20 years ago, local firefighters went up and down 110 flights of stairs in downtown Albuquerque.
