MAHWAH, NJ A Mahwah couple is suing the Bronx rapper A Boogie Wit da Hoodie for over $260,000 in damages caused to their home while the rapper and co-CEO of his label, Quincy Acheampong, were staying there.
According to court filings, A Boogie, born Artist Dubose, and Acheampong entered into a lease agreement with Lawrence and Carolyn Guarino, who own a property on Finn Court, in September 2017.
Filed by Chubb Insurance Company in Bergen County Superior Court last Wednesday, the lawsuit said Dubose and Acheampong abandoned the property without notice sometime prior to December 2018, leaving significant damage to all areas of the home.
