Ho Chi Minh City – Hue – Hoi An – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Luang Prabang – Siem Reap
Your trip begins in Ho Chi Minh City, also known by its old name Saigon, where you’ll have some time to explore the sights and sounds of this bustling modern city. A visit to the Chu Chi tunnels, key to the strategy of the Viet Cong during the war, makes for a humbling experience. This rounds off the Ho Chi Minh leg of the tour, and will see you heading towards the centre of the country, to the enchanting Imperial City of Hue, Vietnamese capital during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Perched on the banks of the Perfume River, it is now a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to a wealth of temples, tombs and pagodas.
