THE Mail readers have had their say after Asda announced it would be the first UK supermarket to offer in-store Covid-19 vaccinations. Pam Burton said: The flu vaccine seems to run well in the supermarket pharmacies, so I can t see a problem with them doing the covid one too. Plus it ll help take some of the strain from the local surgeries currently doing them, and help us vaccine everyone faster. Christopher Wilde said: The highest rates for catching the virus is supermarkets, loads of people waiting around for a vaccine. And you wonder why the virus is spreading. What a stupid idea.
