A double shooting in San Francisco Thursday left on man dead and another injured and the midday homicide, near the busy intersection of Haight Street and Masonic Avenue rattled the neighborhood, which has seen a rise in violence.
Last Friday, gunshots were heard ringing off Central Avenue, between Waller and Haight streets, in the Haight-Ashbury, leaving the neighborhood's Ritual Coffee Roasters location and nearby cars damaged. It's now believed that this shooting is gang-related.

San Francisco officials announced the cancellation of the city’s upcoming 4/20 celebration, one week ahead of the international cannabis holiday that draws thousands of celebrants to Golden Gate Park each year.
