A section of leaders has demanded investigations into the death of Christopher Gachari, run over by a convoy of vehicles heading to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s meeting at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri last Saturday.
Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua, accompanied by his Nominated counterpart David Ole Sankok and Senator Issac Mwaura, issued an ultimatum to the National Police Service to make an arrest within 14 days. Gachari was one of us and his life mattered and if you do not make any arrests in 14 days we shall hold demonstrations demanding action from the police, Ole Sankok stated.

Christopher Nderitu was run over by three vehicles 200 meters from his home in Karundas on the Chaka Sagana road while the politician was headed to Sagana for the Mt Kenya leaders meeting graced by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
On his Twitter page, Itumbi claimed that the deceased s family had also been asked to fast track the burial.

A family in Nyeri County is seeking justice after their kin was killed by a politician s convoy that was headed to President Uhuru Kenyatta s meeting with Mt Kenya leaders in Sagana.
Reports indicate that Christopher Nderitu was run over by three vehicles 200 meters from his home in Karundas on the Chaka Sagana road.

A man was on Saturday killed in an accident involving a government official headed to Sagana State Lodge. Christopher Nderitu, 44, was hit some 200m from Karundas Primary School. Witnesses said a vehicle in the convoy that was headed for a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta was overtaking when it hit Nderitu, who was on an electric wheelchair. Raha Wambui, Nderitu s mother, said the accident happened five minutes after he left his electronics shop at Karundas.
