Upsets were the order of the day on Saturday (April 20) afternoon at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania, with seven $27,397 third and final prelim events of the Bobby Weiss Series for three-year-olds, four for males and three for females.
The Standardbred Retirement Foundation Series for three-year-olds kicked off on Friday night (March 31) at The Meadowlands, and not only did the connections of some inexperienced competitors get a feel for how good their horses may go on to be, but a handful of retired pacers and trotters also benefited in a big way as well.
