around 6:00 this evening. our photographer on scene got the video of cops gathering evidence. i talked with a man working at a gas station nearby on main street. he says he heard at least three shots, but he didn t see anything else. another witness says a man was walking from the b.a.r.t. station nearby when he was approached and shot in the stomach. i talked with a man who lives in the apartment right above where it all happened. he was walking his dog and apparently he was about ten feet away from it when it happened, and he said it just it scared him. he heard the gunshot, picked up his dog, and ran. he said the victim ran off, but he didn t see much of it. reporter: now, we are also hearing that the victim somehow got himself to kaiser hospital, and because he suffered a tr, he was allegedly transported to john mar mear hospital. a very unusual situation here for walnut creek. we don t know the condition of the victim, and as far as we know, that gunman is still at
