Amigos, headed by Bernal, synonymous with charitable donations

“Rebekah Bernal with Amigos” has been almost synonymous with charitable giving in Plainview this year.
The store and its store manager are frequently mentioned regarding donations to various activities and charitable causes around the community, especially this holiday season.
Under Bernal’s leadership, Amigos team members have donated lots of time, food, cut many charitable checks and provided countless gift cards to multiple causes aimed at helping those struggling. The donations go beyond the holiday season. A count and comparison of these donations was unavailable by press time.
Following another donation last week – a $15,000 check to the Plainview Area United Way – Bernal said she hasn’t really given the donations a second thought. She’s always happy to help someone in need.
