Hunstanton Christmas trees recycled to give message of hope and love
| Updated: 12:58, 17 February 2021
Hunstanton s Christmas trees have been given a new lease of life after they were transformed to create messages of friendship, kindness, love, peace and hope.
Organised by Hunstanton and District Festival of Arts (HDFA) the wooden trees first made their debut on the Upper Green covered in Christmas baubles.
Now, the tinsel has been replaced with brightly coloured flowers, butterflies and dragonflies made from recycled items, with each tree offering a unique message.

Members of the HDFA made the decorations during lockdown, with youngsters from Hunstanton Primary School hand-painting 30 wooden hearts which were added to the Love tree on Valentine s Day.
