A Romsey company is to provide a Christmas tree collection and recycling service to avoid wastage while raising money for charity. Between January 4 and January 8, Ace Liftaway Ltd will be collecting trees from people s driveways or front gardens in exchange for a minimum £5 donation. Trees will be taken to the company s site on Yokesford Hill where they will be recycled through a wood shredder and used for bio mass fuel. All proceeds will be donated to Alfie s Wish, a charity that supports children with cancer in the UK by funding days out with their families so they can make memories together.
