This morning. Police identified the gunman who shot and killed three people including a veteran Police Officer at a planned parenthood yesterday. The gunman is 57yearold Robert Lewis Dear from north carolina. Now lets get straight to reporter a heartbreaking scene. Police have allowed us about 150 yards away from the planned parenthood facility, its just beyond where that police car is right there. Officers now go combing through the building and looking for clues, trying to find out why a gunman would open fire and try to kill as many people as possible. Abc7 news is live outside San Francisco General Hospital where two Crash Victims are being treated. Melanie . Reporter one victim was upgraded to fair condition. His family friend tells me they waited until today to let him know the individual who hit him in this crash was an off duty Police Officer. Hes just a kind, compassionate person. Reporter he says his friend was loading musical equipment in a car when another driver hit him and another friend. The driver ditched his dodge, but Police Identified who was behind the wheel the 38yearold is a seven year veteran with the department. The accident happened around 2 20 a. M. Near broadway. The man entered the clinic and at some point, opened fire. Five hours later, officers finally captured the suspect, alive.
