The number of incarcerated people housed in the Department of Correction’s COVID Recovery Unit has increased during the month of September, according to the agency, mirroring trends observed by Connecticut hospitals.
“How comfortable would you be still using your iPhone 1?” Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas said Tuesday. She was making a comparison to a time in the technology revolution that includes Connecticut's now obsolete voting equipment.
After numerous hearings and complaints, the Insurance Department knocked down the average rate for individual insurance plans sold in the state from a 12.4% increase to a 9.4% increase. It also cut in half the requested average rate increase for small group plans from 14.8% to 7.4%.
